"Power of the Radiant Heavens" is a near translation of the Haida Indian term for the
ultimate force in the universe. The sun is surrounded by figures
of myth and nature in traditional art styles of the Northwest
Coast. This image is a simplified version in six colors of a
large (27" X 27") seven-color work called “Power
of the Shining Heavens,” first published in 1978 and long since sold
out.
