This Salmon/Crab design was commissioned
by the Jamestown Klallam Tribe. It was first designed as a 48" x 90" wood
carving that is now on display in the lobby of the Tribal Administration Building. Salmon
and Dungeness crab were two important foods of the KIallam people. Today, they symbolize
the economic and cultural well-being of the tribe.
